Loop Breakers
Loop Breakers is a science fiction written by me, Yifeng Leng, since 2017.
In the 22nd century, 80% of the human race was wiped out due to a devastating nuclear war. To escape the pollution, the surviving population retreated underground, waiting for nature to heal itself. During this underground era, four main families—Freeburg, Helen, Konoe, and Quiz—established a nation called SunFlood. After 600 years, it was safe for people to return to the surface. They spent 200 years rebuilding human culture and preparing for the fourth industrial revolution. However, they discovered the existence of another life form: silicon-based creatures known as "Rockmen," named for their crystalline appearance. The Rockmen established their own nation called StarSky, and since humanity's return to the surface, the two nations have been in a state of constant warfare. On May 22nd, 2905, StarSky occupied SunFlood's resource-rich Zone 6, as known as Rocas State. Determined to reclaim it, the SunFlood government initiated "The Blade Plan."
This futuristic fiction, set in the 30th century, tells the story of six individuals who form an elite team called The Blade Squad, tasked with eliminating the Rockmen in Rocas. As they work to complete the missions outlined in The Blade Plan, they encounter numerous adversaries. However, to their surprise, most of them show no intention of causing harm. Instead, they are friendly and non-aggressive. As The Blade Squad continues their efforts to reclaim the territory, they begin to question the logic behind The Blade Plan and start to doubt its legitimacy...
